“When I’m older, I’m going to live somewhere else!” Oh the naive mind of a young person! That WAS me. Now, I strongly feel that Gillette, Wyoming is the best place to live, teach and raise kids!!!!  I have lived in Gillette my whole life. (Almost 38 years!)  I have been raising my two children here. Berkley, 13. Boston, 11. That is a girl in 8th grade and a boy in 6th.  Pray for me.  God blessed me with the best man that I have ever met in my life. That man is my husband and best friend. Chad and I will soon be celebrating 15 years of marriage and 20 years together.  Last school year I taught kindergarten. That school year changed me! Those students brought me more joy than I feel I deserve.  

What a wonderful God we serve.   

I felt so overjoyed this year…I couldn’t wait to talk about it!

I am Christy Schomer- a wife, a mom, a grandmother, a business owner but most importantly a Christian.   Like so many of you, my life has been full of great sorrow AND great joy, great failures AND great successes. But there is nothing I am more proud of than the 5 beautiful young women I was blessed to raise. They will always be my greatest accomplishment and what has given my life meaning.  I have been a teen mom, a single mom, a poor mom and a happily married and financially comfortable mom. I have made more mistakes than I can count. But the one constant through it all was my Heavenly Father. He has never failed me. He has shown me that with His grace, His mercy and the forgiveness of myself and others, I can find true joy-even in the most difficult and painful times that life can bring.   I am both honored and humbled by the invite to speak at this wonderful event. Sharing what I have learned as a mother and as a Christian is not something I have ever done nor considered doing, but Ashley has an amazing way of making you think you have something to share and instilling the belief that you can. It must be the teacher in her.   My hope and prayer is that the Lord uses me to share something that touches you, speaks to you, and blesses you.

Hi friends!  I  am a native of Gillette, wife and mother of three; Leigton, 18 yrs old, headed to his freshman year at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Brinlee, sweet 16 in July, upcoming Sophomore at TBHS and Daughtry, 13 yrs old, will be in 8th grade at SVJH.  My husband and I owned a salon for 24 years. We sold the salon and at 47 years old, I went to Real Estate school, got my license and now have a flourishing business at ERA Priority Real Estate.

Feb 15, 2021 I received a diagnosis of Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, (Breast Cancer).  One in 8 of us will be given some type of breast cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. I am so excited and honored to be here to encourage and give hope if you or someone you love is that 1 in 8. Luke 1:78-79 "because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace."

Hello God’s People! My name is Alicia Sifuentes, I was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming.  My grandparents taught me to pray and thank God everyday for everything we have been blessed with.  I am a mom, a wife, a coach, and I live my life to the fullest.  I was in a tragic accident when I was 19 years old and thankfully lost my leg and not my life.  I love to talk to my God every day, and I hope my story can help you with any doubts you have about our God.

 Hello you beautiful ladies. My name is Tiffany and I have lived in Gillette for a majority of my life. I am a wife and mama to 4 wild and crazy humans. Easton is 8 (and our only boy, bless his soul), Presleigh is 6, Emmie Lou is 4, and Harper is 2. I guess you could say that I'm deep in the trenches of motherhood. I have been a stay at home mom and a working mom. I can testify that one is not easier than the other. It's all hard, man. I know that God has given me a breath of air in the moments I thought I was drowning. Through him, this hard, and sometimes exhausting life can be beautiful. I'm so humbled that I get the chance to share some of my experiences with you all.
